I’ve had a slower start than most losing weight in my Biggest Loser challenge, but this week seems to be my week! As of this morning, I’m down 5 pounds (in just over two weeks!). My workouts consist of walking uphill on the treadmill in my garage (great for the glutes and thighs.. and lots of sweating!), jogging on the treadmill in the garage (very, very sweaty), going on 5-8 mile bike rides, and swimming laps. I also tried Bikram Yoga last night.. 90 minutes of yoga in a 105 degree F room. I couldn’t do all the poses perfectly, but I did make it through the entire class without having to sit out for any poses.. so I was quite pleased! I’m sure all that sweating in my garage prepared me for the heat. And Chelsi’s advice to stay hydrated all day long and not eat anything after 3:00 helped tremendously. Hooray for motivation, exercise and results!
Only eight more pounds to lose to hit my pre-pregnancy weight! And ten more after that to look hot again. :)
